June 4, 2023Bert did two projects for us over the past two decades. The kitchen remodel in Tacoma turned out beautiful and on budget/time. I was pregnant and we had a toddler at the time yet the remodel was less stressful than any other remodel experienced by family/friends. More recently Bert fixed up our front porch in Olympia. Again on budget, on time and exactly how we wanted it to look. If you want it done right the first time, use Johndrow Construction. If you like stress and miscommunication then hire someone else.

Johndrow Construction built a deck and pergola for us. Bert is professional, meticulous, and thoughtful about his work and it shows in the quality and craftsmanship of what he builds. We really appreciated Bert's recommendations for materials and stain. I feel confident that the deck and pergola will look great for a long time. Beyond the work, Bert is excellent to work with. He is communicative, on time, and sets expectations well. He manages his schedule well and we were able to get our project done without waiting too long. Bert was great from start to finish. He identified that the repair I needed was a safety hazard and quickly worked me into his schedule. Given the difficulty in finding a reliable contractor in todays environment, I cant stress enough how much I appreciate Bert's timeliness. The work performed was top notch and at a fair price.
